We Remember Mrs Mabel Warburton

This Picture of her with Trevor was taken around 1970 at Gatwick Airport........

Mabel Warburton ,mother of Trevor and Graham, both students at WIGS. She lived at 84, Foresters Drive ,Wallington. After leaving the school just before closure, she was divorced and remarried a man from Gran Canaria ,Canary Islands and eventually went to live there.She and her husband returned to UK around 1970 and both coincidentally worked at Gatwick Airport for BCAL with Trevor.Later,about 1980, she returned to retire in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria where she and her husband both passed away within a week of each other in 1994.She was a very kind and fun loving lady ,who always remembered WIGS fondly.
